The efforts in dealing with COVID-19 various aspects are continuously being carried out, such as the photocatalytic process. Interestingly, TiO2 plays an important role environmentally friendly photocatalyst a visible and UV absorption range. increase antiviral performance of this compound is further maximized by formulating TiO2-based composites doping it to reduce bandgap. This review aims determine challenges composite active material for SARS-CoV-2 antiviral. It presents discussion function TiO2, comparing secondary data obtained from viruses that have been successfully degraded SARS-CoV-2. literature search led analysis quality, structure, composition, viruses. comparison was based on photocatalyst’s general constituents, protein RNA. virus morphology observed destroyed hydroxyl radicals resulting processes. generated ROS, capable inactivating viruses, therefore, has potential fighting against Moreover, research needed design, its role, overall mechanism inactivation.
